Does self-acceptance slip away from you and you end up seeking it externally?
I mean, we're human after all and this might happen, but the real issue comes in when it gets in the way of what you deeply need to communicate.
Seeking acceptance externally can manifest in certain conversations, like with the opposite sex or with your seniors at work as:
a) increased heart rate, nervousness
b) unsure speech, low small voice and
c) supplicating tones and saying a lot of ums and softening the words in order to be liked.
This all happens uncosnsiously of course.
All these bad mental & vocal habits could all be initiated by a self-limiting belief that entered the mind at some point in your journey. Like "I should be different in order to be liked"
Solution:
You can upgrade belief at the uncunsciuos mind level, to improve your natural speech.
Practice this instead "I used to think I should be different in order to be liked, but now I claim my confidence to self-assure from within!"
You can write it down and place it somewhere you can frequently glance at.
You can record it and listen to it on repeat during your morning routine.
You can also use it as a mantra as you are taking a walk or doing your job.
